A new cultural hub, the 'Kulturbahnhof,' is being created in an old train station building in Hohen Neuendorf, near Berlin. The program includes a versatile library and event spaces that reactivate the centrally located building and appeal to various user groups. A particular challenge is the extension or expansion of the building downwards, as well as the renovation during ongoing operations for the S-Bahn station integrated into the building.
