The Train Track Village

The 'Schienensiedlung' is a densification concept within the urban context of Berlin. The starting point of the study is firewalls along the S-Bahn tracks. The investigation examined the potential for residential, work, and leisure spaces. In areas where firewalls are concentrated, a dynamic structure is created through a self-developed zoning plan, which can be applied to any location.
